For many years, Kent Rieske has been promoting the concepts of a high-fat, moderate protein, low-carb lifestyle change to improve health after he lost 40 pounds and improved his high blood pressure using this way of eating. He’s enjoyed eating real whole low-carb foods like red meat, fish, fowl, natural cheeses, raw nuts and non-starchy vegetables while giving up sugar, grains, breads, fruits, starchy vegetables, partially hydrogenated oils and polyunsaturated vegetable fats to enjoy the most robust health of his life. Kent is extremely passionate about the therapeutic uses of low-carb diets on health as evidenced by his latest book entitled Reversing Heart Disease and Preventing Diabetes: Apply Science to Lower Cholesterol 100 Points; Reduce Arterial Plaque 50% in 25 months; and Improve Heart Rhythm and Valves. Listen in as Jimmy and Kent talk about how important carbohydrate-restriction is to living an optimally healthy life!

Must say and/or hope that Mr. Rieske is not accurate about having LDL of 100 as being healthy or else I’m a gonna. LOL

  2. My own experience with simvastatin is my ldl dropped from 170 to 55, with no side effects. Don’t know if plaque is reversing, but I can hope so…
