In your interview with Norm you asked if there were any homeopathic remedies for GERD.  All homeopathic “medicines” are diluted to the point where the only thing that they contain is water.  It is literally impossible for them to work for anything other than dehydration.  Naturopathic is completely different.

  2. This is why I started low-carbing! My IBS only kept getting worse and worse, expanding into GERD, and I knew that antacids weren’t the way to go. Two points I found googling led me to low-carbing: One is that humans can’t digest grains well (if at all) and the other is that fat, not fiber, helps move things (safely) along in the bowels. And just like Robillard, my GERD (and IBS) were gone within days of changing my diet. I can’t go back, no matter how much I miss my grains. My digestion reacts badly instantly.

    I have now bought Robillard’s book, and I wish him luck with his resarch.

I also noticed my heartburn went away after the first week of following a low carb diet.  I also was able to add dairy(real cheese and real cream) back into my diet.  For years, I thought I had lactose intolerance.  Once I started eating a low carb diet, I noticed the “processed cheese” and cheese sauces gave me diarrhea and heartburn, but real cheeses and cream did not.
