Nutritionist and podcaster Monica Reinagel is our guest for today’s episode of The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show With Jimmy Moore!

Monica Reinagel has been on this podcast before–many years ago when this show was first getting started and she was a blogging nutritionist. We were quite pleased with her low-carb friendly stance and encouraged her to branch out her message to an even wider audience. Shortly after consulting with Jimmy and his podcast producer Kevin, Monica made the decision to start her own podcast with the folks over at Quick and Dirty Tips.

Dubbed “The Nutrition Diva,” she has gone on to rule the iTunes charts in Health and Fitness, but she still stays true to her low-carb beliefs. I like what she was pointing out about public health towards the end, poorly controlled epidemiology that is then dumbed down even further has been wielded as an extremely blunt intrument by public health officials and it has caused a lot of damage. What we need is a scapel approach, not a sledgehammer.

  3. Great wonderful podcast. my hats off to Monica. She is now on my short list of books to buy. Kindle I hope for my iPad.

    Egg whites only have a place as part of a high protein diet for body builders and weight lifters if they need a high source of added protein and use them by the dozen. Other than that, please use the whole egg especial the best part- the yoke.
