  1. Wes and Kevin are obviously nice guys, sincere about what they’re doing BUT it’s hard to take them too seriously when one is a Type I diabetic who has never heard of Dr Bernstein, and one says he’s ‘read’ Good Calories Bad Calories but has only ‘thumbed through it’.

  2. My thoughts exactly. I had to stop listening to them when he said he had never heard of Dr. Bernstein. I guess they are not readers? Anyway, I like to listen to the podcasts from people who know more than me. That way I can learn something. But, thanks anyway.

Honestly, I was surprised by that too, Donna, but they are doing fantastic work in support of low-carb living. 🙂

  3. I think they’re on the right track and have some good ideas but definitely have more to learn and then think of how much more they can bring to the table. I do like the way they think.

    Thanks, Jimmy!

  4. I would rather judge them on what they are presenting, rather than if they have heard of a certain other person. They have obviously done their homework.

And just for the record, one of the guys said he had read GCBC and the other said he thumbed through it.

Great interview, Jimmy! I’m going to recommend it on my blog.
