Hello and welcome back to The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!

Today’s interview is a special treat because Jimmy gets to speak with actress and newly-appointed Atkins Nutritionals spokesperson, Courtney Thorne-Smith. You may know Courtney from her leading roles in Melrose Place, According to Jim, or even as Georgia from Ally McBeal, but Courtney is talking to Jimmy today about the low-carb lifestyle.

Courtney reveals during the interview that livin’ la vida low-carb is essentially the way most of Hollywood eats, with almost all restaurants offering great choices, and even the sets and green rooms are stocked with nuts, cheese, meats and similar healthy low-carb munchies.

She also talks about how she first FAILED on Atkins by not reading the book! Uh oh…that one sounds familiar, doesn’t it? She’s got it all worked out now, though, so listen in for all the details from one of the most enduring actresses on television today!

  3. Fabulous as always, Jimmy. Your show is an excellent resource for those trying to get out of overeating and bingeing.

Giving up sugars, flours and other fake carbs was a huge component of my getting off the binge/diet roller coaster. I think it’s true of most overeaters. Thank you for sharing this important information with others.

    You rock!

THANKS for listening, Karly! I appreciate all that you do, too. Keep it up, my friend.

  4. Thanks Jimmy!! I really enjoyed this interview. As a woman who has read lots of diet articles and stories in women’s magazines, I have to agree with Courtney – all of the diets they are recommending ARE low carb. Why they don’t come out and say that, I’m not sure. Too bad though.

  5. Jimmy,I’ve just found your website and I truly appreciate all what you’re doing. The interviews are very informative and your work so inspiring.Good bless and keep going!
