With the increased prevalence of farmer’s markets these past few years as health-conscious consumers are turning back to real food again, it can be challenging to feed your family in the familiar convenient packaging that you’ve been used to. This becomes especially difficult for families with babies that tend to rely on jars of baby food to fulfill the nourishment of these little ones. But for a public school teacher and real food advocate named Ann Buttimer (you may recall hearing her husband Brendan back in Episode 1007), she’s using her educational background to help teach moms how to creatively make baby food from the food at the farmer’s market. Jimmy captured her demonstration on his Periscope channel recently while at his local Hub City Farmer’s Farmer’s Market in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
