It wasn’t clear to me from the podcast, but does cooking garlic destroy the sulfates? Also, do you know if garlic tablets such as from Nature Made still contain the sulfates?
I’ve asked Stephanie to respond.
As mentioned in the podcast about financial rewards coming from Big Pharma, don’t forget that the doctors themselves are complicit when they are shareholders in Big Pharma and biomedical stocks, and are seeking to raise the share price by creating demand for the company’s products–whether it be a statin, a certain hip replacement product, or a certain test.
When demand for something goes up, usually price goes up along with it. Since doctors are essentially being made into federal employees through Obamacare, their pay has gone down dramatically, and will continue–thus, the buying of stock to try to alleviate some of their losses. I think doctors are going to learn a lesson that was taught back in the last century: doctoring doesn’t pay…especially when you get paid in chickens, quilts, and homemade jam, like they did back then.
…and they spent HOW MANY dollars and hours of time to learn how to become doctors (in hopes of making the big bucks)?
Even as they try a Wall St. workaround to Obamacare, they’re going to eventually succumb to what the rest of us have already succumbed to: collapsing demand for their services, plus a collapsing economy, and a collapsing world.
This was a fascinating podcast. Stephanie is dredging up a lot of new things to consider in a much different nutritional/heart health paradigm. I’m sure I will spend the next weeks and months checking all this new stuff out on cholesterol sulfate and it’s effects on health. I like the idea so far as it potentially addresses some of the paradoxes involved in more mainstream theory on plaque formation. Our bodies are like biochemical swiss watches. So many gears all turning in harmony.
I’m skeptical of the claims made about Vitamin D because anecdotally we know from people like Dr. Davis that supplementation of D3 as an intervention does produce plaque reduction (although maybe I’m misunderstanding, because possibly what she’s suggesting is that D3 supplementation reduces plaque because your heart does not believe it’s as sulfate deficient as it really is, but is robbing Paul to pay Peter because now your heart is in worse shape and the plaque was beneficial to the more immediate threat?). But nevertheless I’m very impressed, this woman might be the most brilliant interviewee I’ve ever heard on your show.
Wow Jimmy, this was amazing info. I have listened twice and will probably listen at least twice more to absorb it all. The info regarding Vitamin D was most fascinating. Thanks Dr. Stephanie for doing what you do and for being willing to share with the great unwashed. I’m going to go eat some raw onions and lots of garlic….
