  1. I just ordered your book. THANK YOU Jimmy for all that you do. You’ve been a constant companion on numerous walks around the neighborhood as I listen to your podcasts.

  2. Sugar is the true cause of most of our chronic illnesses today: hearty disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and yes, even cancer. Cut the sugar, cut the carbs, and you’ve cut a vast majority of the health problems that plague our country, driving up health insurance costs to ever-higher levels.

It’s much cheaper NOT to buy or eat something than it is to follow the path of convenience–whether it be food or medicine. Too many of us simply choose to rely on the fallback of “medicine” to save their health, and that’s why we now have the monstrosity known as Obamacare to contend with.

In the words of Nancy Regan: “Just say no.” Or at least “no thank you.”

  3. I’m listening to the podcast now, and something you should know about fish oil: high doses will cause your blood sugar to climb–this is straight out of the PDR. If anyone’s diabetic, pre-diabetic, or trying to avoid becoming that way, limit the dose to no more than 4 grams/day for adults. All sources of Omega-3 will cause you blood sugar to climb, so be careful with it and test, test, test!

Fish oil also thins the blood–if you have a clotting problem or hemophilia, this could be hazardous for you. This is also straight out of the PDR.

I have arthritis, and I was wondering if I was taking enough fish oil to combat the rheumatism. I looked it up, and it turns out I was taking too much!
