Adel Moussa used to write a column for an online magazine in Germany called “Ask Dr. Andro” and the name just stuck. Jimmy saw ProfDrAndro on Facebook commenting on various health and nutrition posts and invited him to come on the podcast to discuss his thoughts and ideas from his perspective. Moussa currently teaches at a German University and has a personal interest in fitness and nutrition which led him to start writing a blog called “SuppVersity.” He originally was going to use his blog to talk about the role of supplements in health but has expanded the scope of his posts to include anything and everything about exercise and nutrition science. His goal is to summarize and present the actual scientific data from recent studies in a way that helps people educate themselves so they can make better choices and find their way to a healthier, more active and more attractive self. This is something we love and appreciate which is why Adel is on the podcast today. ENJOY!

I have have it a plateu on low-carb – stuck at 205 – after dropping 20 lbs. I have been at 205 now for about 2 months. Very interested in hearing that I might have hit a point where I need to add back a few carbs. Anyone else try this with success? Jimmy – are you going to give it a shot? Curious if once a week – like one big meal with carbs is a good way to start.
Brian, my feeling is that isn’t a good idea.
Perhaps at some point. But I’m working with a doctor right now.
