When Jimmy contacted Peggy about being a guest on my podcast, she immediately contacted him back stating “I’m not low-carb anymore.” Needless to say, that got his attention and caused him to want to have her come on my show even more. When she agreed and they started talking, it quickly became apparent that she still indeed eats a low-carb diet along with lots of meats, fats, organ meats, bone broth and more to help keep her health in line from the infertility and other such issues she’s suffered from in the past. Peggy has a superb blog called “The Primal Parent” where she shares with her growing readership how primal low-carb living revolutionized her life forever! Listen in as she and Jimmy talk about her journey to optimal health.

You forgot to edit the first Ad….not good.
Nope, The Paleo Summit spot ran just as I planned for it to.
I meant the the beyond calorie gate ad.
And that one ran as intended too. 🙂
I think that was a bad idea not to edit that. I felt bad for the guy.
Huh?
Wow, Greg,
How about thanks Jimmy, for the great blogs and the website. Old addage, if you can’t say something nice, maybe you shouldn’t say it at all.
LOL, thank you!
I think there is much more value in saying, hey look, I think you made a mistake here.
Who made a mistake?
I think you did. Some quotes from the ad ‘Oops, sorry can I start this again?’ ‘Whenever you want to pick back up, just stop moving around because I’m hearing all that movement’ ‘Oh I’m sorry I thought I was going to start again’ ‘Count the black box is, sorry, let me start again’
‘When we think about overweight, maybe we think about, ooh, sorry, let me start again.’
‘Stop beating yourself up, you know this stuff backwards and forwards, just do it.’
So I don’t get it, why would anybody think that shows the company in a positive light and is a good ad?
I’m not trying to beat you up about it, I honestly think that you haven’t listened to the ad again yet and that’s why you don’t see where I’m coming from.
Okay buddy, I get it! I’ll let my producer know. He had his computer crash and I had to send him the raw audio of spots again. They just weren’t produced this time. I’ll let Kevin know.
My producer got it fixed now. Thanks for sharing, Greg.
Cool, I apologize if I seemed rude, I didn’t intend it that way.
No, I just wasn’t understanding what the issue was. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I stay so busy recording and airing interviews that I don’t always catch these things before they air. I sincerely appreciate you letting me know.
Thank for a great blogs and website, Jimmy!
Seriously, I kind of enjoyed a peek at the “behind the scenes” during the CalorieGate intro. I was also coming to post how sweet you treated Adam through the whole thing.
Then I read Greg’s posts. Now I’m going to buy Adam’s book to show my appeciation.
THANKS Lisa!
