Self-improvement and productivity guru Tim Ferriss and Belgian microbiologist Jeroen Raes are Jimmy’s guests in today’s long-awaited episode of The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!
Jimmy starts off by interviewing Jeroen about his recent study examining the development and life of the flora and microbiota of the human gut (published in this month’s issue of the journal Nature) and how its relative health can affect our health and metabolism as well as how people can be grouped into three types according to the mix of beasties in their digestive tract!
Next up, we’ve got the hot, hot, hot New York Times #1 bestselling author of The 4-Hour Workweek and the brand new The 4-Hour Body Tim Ferriss. He managed to hold still just long enough for a great tete-a-tete with Jimmy discussing topics such as slow-carb nutrition, thermogenic weight loss, the influence of Gary Taubes, and much MUCH more! Do not miss this very special episode that has been a long time in the making–and so worth the wait!

I’ve read Tim’s book and thought it was great. I was very interested in what he said about beans. I tried his diet but found all the carbs plus the cheat day was too much for this menopausal gal! Thanks for the interview Jimmy.
I was glad to hear him say that some people can’t eat that many carbs.
Is this diet a lifestyle change or could it be done short-term?
Any sustainable diet is done for a lifetime.
