Journalist and author David Gumpert discusses his book The Raw Milk Revolution in today’s episode of The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!

Listen to Jimmy discuss all the ins and outs of the raw milk debate that has led to some harrowing farm raids making headlines the past few years with one of the leading voices on this topic named David Gumpert. David’s book The Raw Milk Revolution: Behind America’s Emerging Battle Over Food Rights exposes how this squabble over raw milk rights goes much deeper than the milk itself.

PLUS, don’t miss Jimmy’s mini-interview with author and blogger Adam Kosloff who discusses in greater detail about his brand new e-book called The Low-Carber’s Survival Guide!

      1. Hey Jimmy, I tend to fast forward through the ads, and Adam is a recurring ad so I don’t listen to see if it’s different from all the other ones. Sorry.

          1. Yeah, I know. And I appreciate that. I might sit through a minute of ads, I might even sit through a couple of them spaced throughout the show. But lately the ads have been averaging 10 minutes per show and I’m not the patient type ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Great interview Thanks!

It is *almost* impossible to get raw milk here in Canada due to Federal regulations ;-(

But the dairy at my local Framer’s Market have recently started producing whole milk in glass bottles (which get re-used)! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The non-homogenized, farm fresh milk comes from a single herd of healthy, seasonally pastured cows.

The milk is pasteurized using batch pasteurization, a slightly lower pasteurization temperature over a longer period of time, versus high temperature short time used by conventional dairies.

My very first taste (straight from the bottle of course!) took me right back to my childhood growing up in England: where we had milk delivered to the door in glass bottles with foil caps.

    My son is already hooked!

    Cheers
    Frank
