Todd Becker is the blogger behind the “Getting Stronger” blog, where he is a proponent of using the effects of Hormesis and stress to improve health and strength. What is hormesis? Listen in for the full explanation, but here’s a quote from Todd’s site:
Hormesis is a biological phenomenon whereby a beneficial effect (improved health, stress tolerance, growth or longevity) results from exposure to low doses of an agent that is otherwise toxic or lethal when given at higher doses.

That was a great interview – thanks! He has some great methods to try for anyone seriously overweight.
I try to miss one breakfast (massive omlette, bacon and, this time of year, tomato slices fried in butter) and one lunch (a “big assed salad” a la M. Sisson) every fortnight. I think that’s a enough intermittent fasting. I don’t think I’d be keen to miss an evening meal. Too much good home produce for that here.
Another great show! I’m going to try this and see if it breaks my 3 month stall

Great podcast. Took a 30 second cold shower this morning. Yowza! That sure did wake me up! lol I do some IF a couple times a week and it definitely helps with fat loss.
