  1. Wow, what a great interview!

Two months ago my sister changed her cats’ food from dry to wet (pate; much fewer carbohydrates, among other things) and the change in their temperaments (calmer), fur (softer) and skin (no flakiness) is already amazing.

Human beings are really no different… I love that story about the little girl near the beginning.

  2. Excellent interview. I think I will listen again. My mood improved after going low carb. I enjoy liver and try to eat nutrient dense foods. Liver is less expensive. My only problem is trying to get family and friends interested in looking at the low carb diet. Cheers from Australia.

  3. Great interview! Ann really knows her stuff. I had to scroll back and see that …yes, she is a psychiatrist…not a nutritionist. What an asset to the psychiatric community! I wish there were more like her.

  4. fantastic interview! thanks so much for this. Dr. Childers is so calm and positive and right on w/ everything. HOw can I share this link via email?

  5. Loved this interview. Dr. Childers is so clear, thoughtful, and eloquent. Listening to her was inspiring and motivating. Thank you Jimmy for another wonderful show.

  6. I was prescribed a drug for epilepsy in order to manage my migraines . I worked (not without side-effects)and also took care of pre-menopausal and PMS mood-swings.After one year on the medication I switched to ketogenic diet, works even better . Guys, if your wife or a girl-friend gives you and others difficult time during that “special time of the month”, try to convince her to go really low-carb. Result is amasing.

  7. Excellent interview! I, too, am tickled that there is at least one psychiatrist out there that realizes the connection between diet and mental state.

Dr. Childers was articulate, kind and very pleasant to listen to. She really cares and it shows. Can’t wait to check out her blog.
