  1. Jimmy,
As a huuuuge fan of yours I was so disappointed when I heard this interview!! I wish you would remove it as a service to your listeners. It is FILLED with misinformation that you NEVER challeneged!! That is not your style to simply accept facts and blanket statements – ex: you ask Dr. D’Adamo – who is a ND and has treated 60,000 patients according to your interview, how he would feel if the NIH came in and put his theorys to the test, yet you agreed when this couple – with very weak credentials, made blanket statements that were extremely questionable! Jack states he had a client who was doing 2.5 hours of cardio a day – she stopped and did his 45 minute weight routine as prescribed and lost 10 pounds in the first week??? Give me a break!! He states Liver disease is the number one disease in teens?? People who do spinning class never change their body?? Who is this guy? Spinning may not improve their bicep strength or shoulder width but it certainly is an excellent cardiovascular exercise and does alot for statistics such as changing blood profiles etc… The numerous plugs for the Hurleys who are their mentors – Michelle states she uses the info she is learning in their nutrition cert. program – over the last 3 years – which is it – if you are taking the cert course now how did you use the info three years ago? I finally had to stop the podcast cast.
Thanks for allowing your listeners to comment.

    1. Having recently discovered these podcasts, I too have become a fan of
JM. I want to respond to your comment though.

As usual, JM was very well prepared. After only a short while through
the interview, it was clear that these these people were clearly very
wobbly on their knowledge of nutrition science/studies.

They were working off their personal experiences and their mentor,
good for them – but they were not scientists. It is quite right that
JM did not confront them on a couple of issues.

The listener was allowed to have their own opinion about the 2.5h
cardio-lady. Who did the measurements? Who is to say that she in fact
did the measurements and exaggerated a bit to Jack? And we all know
that the scales can fluctuates by several pounds on a day to day basis.

As to the spin classes: it seemed clear to me that Jack was talking
about body shape (not blood chemistry), putting on muscle and becoming
lean – I find it extremely plausible that spin classes doesn’t affect
      that to any significant degree.

As to the the fatty liver disease of teens, that did seem a bit odd –
but if JM did not know the real number one disease of teens, I think
that he was right to let it go. To do otherwise would have been
confrontational, disrespectful and rude. The listener was allowed to
have their own opinion – that’s fine.
