Dr. James D’Adamo, creator of The Blood Type Diet and author of Just An Ounce of Prevention Is Worth a Pound of Cure, is the guest on today’s episode of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore.”
Dr. D’Adamo was the originator of The Blood Type Diet several decades ago and has penned many subsequent books since 1991. In today’s interview we get an in-depth look at this particular dietary approach as well as a discussion of his latest tome, Just An Ounce of Prevention Is Worth a Pound of Cure: A Modern Guide to Healthful Living from the Originator of the Blood-Type Diet.
NOTE: Please excuse some rather extreme problems with the audio in today’s episode. We are working hard to address some ongoing audio issues that have been resolved and will begin appearing in the newer podcasts beginning in December 2010.
PLUS: Don’t miss out on a special offer for a discount on your copy of the brand new The Low-Carber’s Survival Guide e-book from Adam Kosloff!

another way to force individualism into an unnecessary and complicated system to make money…
sometimes he seemed to be confused by his own advice 🙂
It did seem to be a quite subjective plan…well if you’re an A blood type you could have some subsets of O that will impact you too. Odd stuff!
Jimmy, this guy is a quack. There is absolutely no evidence or credible science behind his recommendations. I’m a big fan of the show, but disappointed you decided to give credence to this nonsense.
Why is Dr. James Carlson mentioned in the ‘Related Posts’ section?
Hey, JayCee!
Those “Related posts” are picked by a software plug in, not us, so occasionally there may be a bum recommendation.
Sorry!
Tx Kevin, no probs, I think the software is probably looking at the ‘Dr. James’ in both titles. 🙂
