Hello and welcome back to a very special 300th episode of The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!
To help celebrate and commemorate this historic event in the history of our podcast, we invited friend and supporter of the show Dr. Jonny Bowden to come along and interview Jimmy for a change! We’ve heard Jimmy interview the best in the world of nutrition, health and fitness — now let’s hear what he has to say about these past few years of healthy low-carb living!
Tune in to today’s podcast as Jonny and Jimmy discuss his forthcoming new book 21 Life Lessons From Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb, who Jimmy thinks are the best people out there currently promoting the low-carb lifestyle, what are some of those lessons learned from a life of low-carbing, and so much more! THANK YOU for being a part of this momentous 300th episode event!

Jimmy, this is another great interview. I’ve now listened to every podcast on this site and learned so much. In this interview you mentioned that you want everyone to find their own way of eating and that is what I am doing. I came here after 1 1/2 years of McDougall type vegan but do not feel comfortable with strict low-carb either – since I can’t get all grass-fed meats or free-range chickens/eggs. That worries me a little for the long term. So I am eating more like the Schwarzbein Principle II and a little like mediterranean . I have no weight problem but am slightly insulin resistant.
Again congratulations on your success and I’m looking forward to many more of your great interviews.
Rosemarie, thank you for listening! If you are enjoying how you are eating right now and it is working for you to bring about the health changes you desire, then you won’t find me standing in the way of your chosen plan for getting there. I’ve always maintained people find what works for them, follow it, and then keep doing it forever. It’s a recipe for success that I wish more people who try. Again, THANKS so much for very nice comments.
Awesome interview Jimmy. I never knew how you actually got the Atkins book in your hands 🙂
Thank you for having such a passion about low carb and always being the such a great low carb friend, supporter, inspirer, all-in-one resource library for anything and everything on low carb.
You are making a HUGE difference on this plannet buddy! Supporting you all the way !
THANKS JayCee!!!
Another great podcast! I am so thankful that you are taking the time to spread the word about the need for nutritional re-education. I am an RN and found your blog when I was researching food plans to reverse my pre-diabetes/insulin resistance. My nursing education 30 years ago definitely did not include nutritional therapy for disease prevention. I listened to your interviews with Dr. Bernstein and Diane Kress which lead me to read their books. I am currently following the Metabolism Miracle plan to prevent/delay diabetes. I also hope to gain more insights from your new book in living the low carb lifestyle.
THANKS so much for listening, Terry!

I really found the interview a another addition to the main theme that comes from Dr Jonny Bowden and Jimmy More that helping people is the point. I have benifited so much from both podcasts thanks to both of you John Grantham
