Turbulence training is definitely one of the best ways to burn carbs as well as getting your heart and lungs pumping. Probably one of the best types of turbulence workouts is on a spinner bike in a class where everyone is hyped up. The thing is you don’t realise how much it hurts as you’re going for it and trying to outlast everyone else. Be careful you don’t kill yourself though!
Hey – where can you buy that great-looking energy drink? Is it available in local grocery stores? I love those kind of drinks! Great for afternoon slumps! Look forward to hearing back!

It’s not available in stores, Kristie, but you can order it online by clicking on the link. 🙂
Kristie, if you’re having an energy slump in the afternoon perhaps you need to address your diet rather than resorting to energy drinks. It may mean your blood sugar levels are getting too low so need to balance them out.
Actually, as energy drinks go that seems like a good one with antioxidants and green tea.
I checked it out actually verve has been approved by the FDA also MLB and the NHL sound like if your going to use an energy drink its the one to drink
Just for clarification the last Sue post (22:57:54) to this one is another Sue not me. JM need to distinguish between commenters when they have the same name.
Interesting on turbulence training vs. cardio. And I was feeling guilty because I didn’t do enough cardio! I prefer strength training, so now I know that I’m on the right track! Thanks!
Sue (19:44:15), I’d be happy to distinguish between you and the other Sue if you’d like to put a last initial or something to help a brother out. 😀
Carol, you are right on track–KEEP IT UP!!! 🙂
I have tried Verve before (when it was just launching) and actually liked it. I really do not know where to buy it in my area though – I guess I would have to search online as Jimmy states.
I wish they actually sold it in stores, it would be easier to find and purchase. Does anyone know if they sell it in any stores (like GNC etc) or is it 100% online only?
Hey thanks for the link Jimmy, I too tried Verve before..Great
As long as Verve doesn’t carrt like 200mg caffeine but instead uses vitamins than yeah, I’d like to try it. It seems most of these energy drinks are just caffeine shooters now a days.
Jimmy, I admire your commitment to helping others. I’ve been getting a little softer in the middle at 48 so your interview is very helpful. I was surprised the content wasn’t just a bunch of cardio pumping sessions.
Congratulalations on your radical body change…Glen Woodfin
Yeah, low carbs is the way to go, and Jimmy, congrats on losing so much weight, you must feel so much better, you are truly an inspiration to so many others, keep it up friend…
Disappointed Craig is supporting the Vegan lifestyle. I dropped my membership to his site. Unfortunately, I can’t take him seriously anymore. A Vegan lifestyle is not healthy, most who attempt it can’t stay on it – thank goodness!
Yes I think that bike spinning classes are great. They really do it for me.
I wish they actually sold it in stores, it would be easier to find and purchase.
There is a lot to say about a nutrient rich diet, short, intense, resistance training and drinking lots and lots of water. I lost 16 pounds in one month and it was so easy. I never realized how much body fat I was losing until I jumped on the scale. Check out my blog to see how I did it. Thanks for the interview Jimmy, I got a lot of great information from it

I believe that spin classes as well as training for mini-triathlons would benefit the body the most and aid in turbulance training.
