Cancer is the No.2 cause of death in the U.S. Four out of 10 of us will develop invasive cancer at some point (a little higher risk for men, a little lower for women). Twenty percent of us will die of cancer. So we better be thinking about ways to avoid cancer!
I’ve read Ms. Conner-Middelmann’s book and highly recommend it.

Ms. Connor Middelmann mentions that a diet high in carbohydrates like starchy carbs greatly increases the risk of cancer. How do you explain the Kitavans, who eat 70% of their calories in the form of carbohydrates, don’t develop the diseases of civilization and live a long, healthy life?
Perhaps they adapted to that diet over the years.
